Short version: We collect very little data and share none of it. We're a small, independent business run by a real person. Your trust matters more than your data.
Who we are

What we collect
When you sign up or subscribe, we collect:
- Email address - to send you rituals and updates
- Payment information - processed securely by Stripe (we never see your full card number)
- Children's ages (optional) - only if you provide them, to personalize ritual suggestions
That's it. We don't collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or demographic information unless you voluntarily share it.
What we don't collect
We don't use Google Analytics. We don't build advertising profiles. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with anyone.
We use PostHog for product analytics (page views, feature usage, and session replays) to understand how people use our site and improve the experience. If you're in the EU, analytics only run after you accept cookies. Session replays mask all form inputs.
How we use your data
- To send you weekly rituals (if you're a subscriber)
- To send occasional updates about Offline Rituals (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To process payments (handled by Stripe)
- To respond if you email us
Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted services:
- Loops - for email delivery (GDPR compliant)
- Stripe - for payment processing (industry standard security)
- PostHog - for product analytics and session replays (consent-gated for EU users)
Each of these services has their own privacy policies and maintains appropriate data protection standards.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you're in the EU (or anywhere, really), you have the right to:
- Access your data - ask us what we have
- Correct your data - fix anything that's wrong
- Delete your data - we'll remove everything we have on you
- Export your data - get a copy of what we have
- Unsubscribe - every email has an unsubscribe link

Data retention
We keep your email address as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove your information within 30 days. Payment records are kept as required by law (typically 7 years for tax purposes).
Children's privacy
Offline Rituals is for parents and families. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we'll email subscribers and update this page. Minor clarifications won't trigger notifications.
